SW QA engineer

• Software testing of mobile phones, tablets, wearable devices and accessories (payment test, 3GPP compliance, aging test, dual sim test, basic function test);
• Hardware testing of mobile devices, tablets, portable devices and accessories (handover test, power test, FM radio test, navigation test, voice quality test, data throughput test, current consumption test);
• Downloading and flashing of mobile devices for further inspection;
• Participation in preliminary kickoff meetings and making test plans for a new projects;
• Retrieving logs for R&D analysis;
• Reporting at the end of each test;
• Registration of quality issues in internal bug tracking system;
• Joint work with the Research&Development Division to identify and fix malfunctions;
• Regression testing of all resolved issues;

• Higher technical education, preferably in IT, telecommunications or related fields;

Mandatory

• Knowledge of cellular network (mobile devices)
• English: written and spoken (head of division is Korean dispatcher);
• Understanding of testing principles;
• Ability to perform the work carefully;
• Aspiration to quality

Optional

• Knowledge of 3GPP specification;
• ISTQB certification;
• TMMI professional certification.
