As an ideal candidate, you have longtime experience in hands-on positions, proven leadership skills. We are looking for a proactive individual for a full-time role to work remotely or in Magdeburg, Germany.
Responsibilities:

Leading and mentoring a cross-functional team on all technical aspects of the product

Making technical decisions and sharing your technical knowledge to mentor the team

Establishing processes, best practices, and coding standards
-
Overseeing engineering practices and operational costs, establishing KPIs, and drive constant improvement in quality, effectivity, & efficiency

Interviewing, hiring, and training new team members
Requirements:
-
3+ years experience in technical leadership roles coaching cross-functional teams
-
6+ years of experience in hands-on software engineering positions, preferably in SaaS companies

Hands-on engineering experience across a range of skills including ReactJS, NodeJS, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, GraphQL, Typescript

Experience leading the technical direction of engineering teams, developing strategies and work packages

Practical experience in creating security-sensitive products

Experience interviewing, hiring, and scaling engineering teams

Self-motivated, proactive, and organized individual with a positive attitude

How we work:

VISARIGHT is an international team working in Magdeburg (DE) and remotely.

We care more about the things you do rather than your set working hours. Most of us work Monday - Friday from 9 UTC to 18 UTC, and ideally, you’ll overlap at least 5 hours with that. We try to be as asynchronous as possible, but still feel that we need some “synchronicity” to work well.
