Modernization of legacy application to modern technologies and move it to the cloud (Azure).
Customer is the global insurance company.
Project is planned for 4 phases:
1. Migration of backend services to Linux (currently running on HP Unix)
2. Re-architecture of transaction management system and containerization of backend services including horizontal scalability enablement
3. Migration to Azure Cloud including implementation of HA, DR, Monitoring and integration of cloud native services
4. Replacement of Win32 GUI clients with web applications
Azure deployment is starting from phase 1 and includes DEV and QA environments.

Responsibilities:

∙ QA activities: test design, creation, and maintenance of automated test-suits.
∙ Report and track the status of issues in Bug-tracking system
∙ Research and evaluate various testing tools

Must have
• 4+ years working as a QA in automation
• Experience of the formal software development lifecycle, with a solid grasp of manual and automated software testing methodologies and tools
• Python (middle level)
• Keen to learn new languages/technologies
• English at the level of verbal communication with the Client

Nice to have
• SOAP/REST API Testing
• Unit Test Frameworks
• Experience in Automation Frameworks

Mandatory Skills:

Automation QA, Python

Nice-to-Have Skills:

Unit Testing Framework, REST API, SOAP

Languages:

English: B2 Upper Intermediate
