IT&Controls Engineer

Work with hardware, software, cluster servers, databases, network and communication systems related to the automated systems. Implementing software updates and patches.

Carrying out preventive and corrective maintenance of system software.

Maintaining all site hardware and software.
-
Hands on IT and controls management on site.
-
Decrease of the response time when controls appear to have problems.
-
Optimization of the control alignment and good documentation of all configurations.
-
Solving unique but definite problems.
-
Solving high level controls errors (in SCADA, interfaces between applications and MFC, WCS, BPI)
-
Detection of flaws for the purpose of prevention of downtime.
-
Long term bin planning.
-
Contact point with headquarter IT departments and control support.
-
IT configuration management.
-
Initiation and execution of improvement actions.
-
Maintaining and archiving releases, versions and updates.
-
First line support for the hotline.
-
IT systems or Computer Engineering (higher technical level).
-
Experience in maintaining cluster servers, databases, network and communications systems and software related automated baggage handling systems or automated systems in material handling industries.
-
Excellent verbal and written skills in English language.
