IT Business application support specialist for Funds Transfer applications

This position is for:

• Incident, change and problem management for applications, supporting funds transfer functions and other related to those functions applications for all VTB Capital and VTB Europe offices.
• Analysis, development and implementation of new requirements from regulators and users.
• Technological and methodological support of regulatory and audit requirements for funds transfer processes.
• Continuous work on optimisation of applications architecture and costs.
• Management or participation in projects that involve applications in scope.
• Keeping responsibility for systems’ stability, availability and integrity, business continuity, disaster recovery.
• Keeping applications information security facilities according to the Company’s standards and regulators’ requirements.

Principal Responsibilities

• Day to day accountabilities for the employee of the Application Support are:
• Control of the IT systems health, performance and functioning;
• Run and manage change management and project activities.
• Incident resolution according to event criticality
• Changes implementation according to Company procedures in critical environment
• Maintaining effective communication between business and IT teams
• Provide management with status reports and service level reports
• In general, employee will work independently following to the instructions and procedures but in case of non-typical or complicated issues some form of supervision may be required

Key Competencies & Qualifications

Required:

• Higher education
• Excellent knowledge of funds transfer principles, interbank and customer payments, domestic and international,
• Experience in domestic payments in other countries is a strong plus.
• Good knowledge of SWIFT messages standards, mainly, but not limited to categories 1,2,3,5,9 and principles of their usage.
• Experience in administration of SWIFT alliance systems is a strong plus.
• Experience in administration of Euclid, Cascade PC is a strong plus.
• Understating of reconciliation principles
• Understanding of payments Investigations processes.
• Understating of main Russian, European and global payment systems like: EBA, SWIFT, Target2 and others.
• Good knowledge of SQL
• Good knowledge of XML and XSLT
• Ability to write\understand simple automation scripts like PowerShell, UNIX shell, and similar.
• Good understanding of fundamental IT infrastructure components and procedures: ActiveDirectory, backups, virtualisation, networks, etc.
• Good understanding of ITIL, change management, and information security principles
• Good communication skills (oral and written)
• English language skills
• Ability to manage several tasks simultaneously

• Ability to work in stress conditions
• Ability to work out of office hours

• Scripting or programming skills
