RESPONSIBILITIES
▹ Get ownership of the legacy data migration system (PHP/MYSQL).
▹ Get familiar with the new data migration system (usage only).
▹ Perform clients' data migration following the defined process under senior dev supervision.
▹ Get familiar with legacy application code (PHP/MYSQL/HTML/CSS/JS).
▹ Investigate issues reported by the customer care team.
▹ Fix bugs reported by the customer care team under senior dev supervision.
▹ Get ownership of the PDF generation system (PHP/MYSQL/HTML/CSS/JS).
▹ Implement custom PDFs ordered by clients, based on a specifications document.
▹ Ensure that best practices and company coding guidelines are always applied.
▹ Consult with your tech lead to propose code or processes improvements.
▹ Work closely with the customer care team when technical help is required.

EXPECTATIONS
▹ Bachelor’s degree in IT (min 2 years) or 5 years experience in web development.
▹ Recent professional or personal experience on PHP & MYSQL.
▹ Experience in Angular and/or Symfony is a cool plus for our refactoring project.
▹ Fluent in written and spoken English.
▹ Comfortable in French is a big plus.
▹ Experience with git workflow.
▹ Good communication skills, can you explain to my mom what is OOP?

ARCHITECTURE
▹ Legacy migration: PHP5/MYSQL.
▹ Legacy CRM: Phalcon 1 (PHP5/MYSQL) + jQuery/volt.

LONG TERM GOALS
▹ Legacy migration: Make the legacy migration process more efficient.
▹ Legacy CRM: Support legacy CRM while refactoring projects progress in parallel.
