Role

We are looking for a Data Architect to build, optimize, and maintain conceptual and logical database models.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop database architecture (Data warehouse, Data lake) to effectively store and retrieve company information
  • Design conceptual and logical data models and flowcharts
  • Optimize new and current database systems
  • Migrate data from legacy systems to new solutions
  • Define security and backup procedures
  • Coordinate with the Data Science and Product Development departments to identify future needs and requirements
  • Analyze structural requirements for new software and applications
  • Improve system performance by conducting tests, troubleshooting and integrating new elements
  • Provide operational support for Reporting and other Information System

Skills

  • 5+ years of experience with data modeling and data architecture, database structure principles
  • 5+ years of experience with Data Lake and Data Warehouse systems
  • Experience with an Azure Data Platform or AWS Data Cloud
  • Experience with data patterns to support various reporting tools similar to PowerBI
  • Experience in securing data (tokenization, encryption or masking)
  • Experience in various modeling strategies and model development tools is preferred
  • Strong experience and advanced skills in SQL scripting required
  • Experience integrating the requirements and activities of a Data Governance program into the data architecture in a sustainable methodology is preferred
  • Mandatory verbal English
