Job Overview

ClearScale is looking for a hands-on Account Manager to participate in various custom solution and product development projects.

Most of the projects led by ClearScale are AWS-centric. You will become a member of ClearScale Managed Services team and will be responsible for maintaining and building relationship with our existing and new customers.

Account Manager drives customer-related initiatives, escalations, cross-department communication and keeps strong focus on customer satisfaction with the service.

Be ready to have weekly / monthly / quarterly calls with customer business and technical teams…in customers’ business time


Responsibilities

  • Operate as the day-to-day point of contact for assigned accounts
  • Develop and sustain an effective relationship
  • Take part in weekly meetings/calls with dedicated customers
  • Onboard and integrate new clients
  • Conduct online demos for new deals
  • Deal with customers’ requests, escalations, create tasks for the engineering team,
  • Prepare reports, Infrastructure Audits of customers’ environments (cost optimization);
  • Manage Customer Satisfaction Surveys
  • Ready for late meetings/calls
  • Responsible for Invoice Management
  • Working close with COO, Support Team Lead, and Support engineers


Qualifications

ClearScale expects successful candidate to have most of the following qualifications and skills (not necessary all have to be presented):

  • We are looking for a candidate with 3+ years of experience in an account/sales management role selling products/services in a B2B market who has attained a degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Informatics, Information Systems or another quantitative field
  • Hands-on experience performing root cause analysis on internal and external data and processes to answer specific business questions and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Strong analytic skills related to working with unstructured documentation and datasets, attention to details, ability to transform and plot uncoordinated ideas into a well-structured possible feature design
  • Understanding of Cloud Technologies (AWS, Azure)
  • Long-term customer relationship management
  • Time management, multitasking and prioritizing while ensuring deadlines are met
  • Communication and negotiation skills
  • Familiar with AWS Cost Management Services (Budgets, Cost Explorer, Cost & Usage Report and, etc)
  • Experience working with monitoring software tools (Zabbix, Connectwize, Datadog and etc.)
  • Ability to learn the ins and outs of the Managed Services
  • Fluent spoken and written English (B2/C1) - there will be plenty of customer-facing calls and chats
  • Ability to work off the regular hours to ensure overlap with US-based customers and teammates
  • Strong self-management and self-organizational skills
