We are a tech company focused on simplifying building management. The goal of Urbest is to provide every user with a simple, intuitive and fast way to interact with his building in order to solve any issue/problem. Engineering:


We look for engineers with a strong eye for detail and humble approach to problem solving. Supportive and being able to work effectively in teams is also a must.


We have a varied stack and our core application is built in Clojure. On top of this we work with the latest technologies such as Postgres, Docker and AWS to name a few. Our tech team organises itself in an organic and efficient way to work, whilst each member takes a lot of responsibility for the end to end delivery of a core part/feature.

Responsibilities :

  • Building a low latency, high availability and scalable global platform
  • Creation of new Microservices/Event Driven Architecture across the business
  • Globally scalable systems for the management and simplification of workflows in property management
  • Chatbots, payment systems integration and more.

Requirements :

  • You have at least 1 year production experience building products in Clojure and any two of Ruby, Python, JavaScript, Java, Scala, Go, C/C++ or C#
  • You thrive in a TDD/BDD agile culture
  • You love an environment focused on good Engineering practice, code reviews and regular pairing
  • You are always happy to collaborate with others, guiding and mentoring where needed
  • You have worked on full cycle product development and you are not afraid of deployment
  • You are an avid problem solver and have experience in systems design and architecture
