Role description:

Parallels is seeking an AppStore optimization specialist with 3-5 years of hands on experience with Apple iOS/MacOS and Google Play store to join its online marketing team. This role requires you to work closely with the marketing and product teams to help increase organic rankings and drive new customer growth of our products in the respective app stores.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Conduct keyword research and competitive analysis on visibility of our apps in the respective App Store with strong emphasis on the Apple iOS/MacOS Store
  • Develop and execute ASO strategies that drive new trials and paid conversions
  • Work with creative services team to optimize, videos, screenshots and other store assets for optimal conversions
  • Modify/update copy descriptions, titles and keywords strings to increase organic rankings
  • Monitor search rankings and conduct research and own the creative process for store assets
  • Work with cross-functional teams to increase paid conversions from trial downloads
  • Work hand in hand with product teams to manage Appstore product listings for updates
  • Spot trends and regularly test new strategies in the ASO space
  • Prioritize effort based on projected download and revenue impact

Qualifications/Ideal Candidate

  • Hands on and demonstrable experience in ASO for Apple iOS/Mac and Google Play Store
  • Hands on experience with AppStore intelligence tools is a plus (AppAnnie, AppTopia, SensorTower, MobileAction etc.)
  • Working knowledge of Apple Search Ads (Basic & Advanced), Google and Facebook Ads
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, accompanied by the ability to present insights and actions to leadership
  • Working knowledge for AppStore pricing tiers
  • A strong foundation and experience in SEO space
  • Working knowledge of social media marketing
  • 3-5 years of experience with App Store Optimization
